An Evaluation Of English In Primary And Secondary Schools

This report is an Ofsted evaluation of English in primary and secondary schools. It has found that boys are still lagging behind girls in lessons. The report also found that standards of writing in primary schools are lower than in reading. The report argues that the most effective schools are those that have revised their English curriculum to meet changes in modern technology and pupils’ developing literacy needs.
