Quality Standards for Special Educational Needs (SEN) Suppor

This guidance sets out quality standards for all SEN support and outreach services working in early years settings, mainstream and special schools, and other provision. The standards have been drawn up by the South East Regional Partnership (SCRIP/SERSEN), in association with the South West Regional Partnership, through a DCSF funded project. They are intended to: Illustrate good practice in the provision of SEN support and outreach services; Help guide the development of local provision and support; Help local authorities and others to determine appropriate resources and arrangements; Assist in the monitoring and evaluation process.
