Gender Gap (Millennium Cohort Study)

This summary shows that girls already have a well-established educational lead over boys by the time they start school and outperform boys at all levels of education in the UK - from the age of seven to higher education. The findings are from the Child Cognition And Behaviour Report, which is part a much wider study by the Centre for Longitudinal Studies, called the Millennium Cohort Study, which seeks to track the development of youngsters born in the first two years of this century.
