How Active Are Our Children? Findings From The Millennium Cohort Study
Half of all UK seven-year-olds do not do enough exercise, with girls far less active than boys, according to this study by the online journal BMJ Open. The paper describes levels of physical activity (PA), sedentary time and adherence to Chief Medical Officers PA guidelines among primary school-aged children across the UK using objective accelerometer-based measurements.
