Drug use, smoking and drinking among young people in England

This is a 25–page survey on secondary school children aged 11 to 15, carried out for the Health and Social Care Information Centre and the Home Office by the National Centre for Social Research and the National Foundation for Educational Research. It shows that around 11% of 11–15 years olds had taken drugs in the timeframe of 4 weeks, 9% had smoked at least one cigarette in a week and 22% had drunk alcohol in a week.
