Delivering Choice and Control for Disabled People

This is the government’s new strategy to transform the lives of disabled people. It takes a life course approach, starting with young people in transition to adulthood. In relation to disabled young people, it seeks to ensure a seamless transition into adulthood, including for those with complex health needs, in all aspects of their life, including between children’s and adults’ services, as well as housing, transport, employment, education and training.
