The Key Stage 4 Curriculum – Increased Flexibility & Work-Related Learning.

Since September 2004, in addition to core subjects, schools have been required to provide work-related and enterprise learning for all students at Key Stage 4. This Ofsted report has found that the traditional divide between academic and vocational courses remains in many of England's schools and that work-related learning and vocational courses were thought relevant only to underachievers in many of the schools it visited.
