Tackling Child Obesity
In 2004, a Public Service Agreement target (PSA) was established by the Government: “To halt, by 2010, the year-on-year increase in obesity among children under 11 in the context of a broader strategy to tackle obesity in the population as a whole.” This 49-page report by the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee criticises government progress on tackling obesity.
