Practical Experiments In School Science Lessons And Science Field Trips

Students are not receiving the practical science education necessary to produce the next generation of scientists, according to this Commons Science and Technology Select Committee report. It reports that pupils are missing out on science trips because of teachers' misconceived health and safety fears and concludes that many students are receiving poor practical science experiences during their secondary school education.
