Mental Health in Schools

Targeted Mental Health in Schools (TaMHS) is a three-year DCSF programme aimed at supporting the development of innovative models of mental health support in schools for children and young people at risk of or experiencing, mental health problems. The aim of this DCSF research was to explore the impact of this programme and find out which approaches seem to be the best ways for schools to help children. It involved evaluating work around mental health in schools that are implementing TaMHS as well as those that are not. Leadership Briefing Issue 4.11 (47)
