Internship or Indenture?

Internships have become a prominent feature of the UK jobs landscape. This research from education charity, Sutton Trust, suggests taking an unpaid internship can cost an individual £926 a month in London or £804 in Manchester, and so the cost of working for nothing rules out all but the wealthy. It suggests most interns should be paid at least minimum wage. Leadership Briefing 9.04(100)
