Early intervention is key – pupil mental health, discipline and exclusions

Excluding a pupil with a mental health condition is never an easy decision. Getting such an exclusion wrong can expose the school to a claim for discrimination. Excluding such a pupil can also have far-reaching consequences for their long term mental wellbeing.
