Vocabulary From Adolescence To Middle-Age

This research by Alice Sullivan and Matt Brown from the Institute of Education (IOE) has found that readers of tabloid papers have smaller vocabularies than people who do not read newspapers, and that reading for pleasure during childhood has a substantial influence on a person's vocabulary 30 years later.
