The Self-improving School System Or A System of Self-improving Schools

In this article, Chris Brown questions whether the English education system will ever be able to achieve a systemic approach to evidence-informed self-improvement. Instead, he argues, growth in the use of evidenced informed practice will only occur slowly and from the bottom up. He concludes that whilst collaborative networks provide useful spaces for learning, they do not necessarily act as key drivers for change.
