An annual school recruitment survey has found too few women teachers are getting jobs as heads at secondary schools, despite a rise in number of schools struggling to appoint a head. The Annual Survey of the Labour Market for Senior Staff in Schools across England and Wales was conducted on behalf of ASCL and the National Association of Head Teachers.
