Sharing Good Practice In Developing Pupils’ Literacy Skills

This report is based on a conference on literacy and the findings of two of Estyn’s most recent reports on literacy – Improving the learning and teaching of early reading skills and Best practice in the reading and writing of pupils aged 7 to 14 years. It considers ways of improving practice in order to raise standards of literacy for learners aged 3 to 14-years-of-age. Effective practices are grouped under key questions to assist leaders and managers to review areas of work and drive improvement further. Folder: Leadership Briefings Issue 4.01 (37)
