Research Into The Role Of School Governors
It is estimated that there are between 235,000 to 350,000 school governor posts in England and approximately 11 per cent of posts are vacant. This report is an overview of research evidence on governors from a preliminary search of key websites and journals, focussing on governors’ effectiveness.
