Transforming Religious Education

Religious education is "inadequate" in one in five secondary schools in England, according to this Ofsted report. Its study suggested many teachers were unsure of what they were trying to achieve in the subject. The report evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of religious education (RE) in primary and secondary schools and discusses the key issues at the heart of RE teaching today.
