Learning to Learn: it’s not enough just to talk about it!

Kate Wall from the Research Centre for Learning and Teaching at Newcastle University summarises some of the key outcomes from the Learning to Learn in Schools and Further Education Projects. She indicates the importance of privileging talk about learning in the classrooms but says it is not enough to be a reflective learner: the ability and space to implement strategic action is also important.
