Impact of School Libraries on Learning

This report by the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) suggests investment in school library provision by local authorities and schools can lead to better educational attainment outcomes. It also suggests that school libraries can play a significant role in the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence, providing proactive support across the four capacities and cross-curricular responsibilities.
