How to… develop talk for learning

The pressures of a content-laden curriculum and the need to demonstrate the necessary levels of progress often seem to pressurise teachers into leading learning from the front of the classroom. One group of teachers from Blean Primary School had the courage to ask ‘Do we talk too much?’ as the focus for their action research.
