Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings: 2015

This research conducted by YouthSight for Santander UK, with figures from the Office of National Statistics, highlights that GCSE students are unaware of the benefits that apprenticeships can give them, with only 8% of 15 to16 year olds considering them as an alternative to university. 42% of the 15 to16 year olds surveyed thought that apprenticeships provided limited value beyond the resulting job.
