Supporting Disadvantaged Students and Schools

Across OECD countries, almost one in every five students does not reach a basic minimum level of skills. This Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) study finds countries that stream pupils into ability groups at an early age tend to have lower levels of achievement. The highest performing education systems across OECD countries combine quality with equity.
