Controlled Assessment in Modern Foreign Languages

This Ofqual report into Controlled Assessment in Modern Foreign Languages follows on from earlier research which looked at teachers’ views of controlled assessment in a range of GCSE subjects. The report focuses on the issues identified in the first report relevant specifically to MFL subjects. The study reveals that most of those questioned had "significant concerns" about the new system, with some calling for a return to traditional coursework. Leadership Briefing issue 7.01(73)
