Case study writing – a vehicle for professional development

This article describes how writing case studies prompted a group of busy teachers to reflect on and bring about changes in their own practice. Janet Dyson, Andy Gray, Anthony Maloney, Debbie Rider and Lisa Rowley show that this experience increased their confidence, had a positive impact on their students and colleagues, and was a powerful form of professional learning.
