Careers Guidance In Schools From September 2012

Since September 2012, schools have been legally responsible for securing access to independent and impartial careers guidance for all their students in Years 9 to 11. However, the new statutory duty for schools to provide careers guidance is not working well enough. Too few schools are providing careers guidance that meets the needs of all their students. This Ofsted report provides a small number of examples of successful approaches in individual schools that have helped students. Leadership Briefing Issue 8.03(87)
