Effectiveness is concerned with ensuring that schools are making the best possible use of their resources to enable every student to fulfil his or her potential. This 54–page study for the DfES was designed to confirm that the schools identified as effective are actually effective when investigated further; and to investigate the good practice that has contributed to their effectiveness.
