Attrition Rates For High-Achieving Pupils Between School And

This report from the Institute of Education and the Institute for Fiscal Studies shows that there are 60,000 students each year who at some point are among the top-performers in their year group, but who do not go on to enter university. The analysis was undertaken for the Sutton Trust’s report to the National Council for Educational Excellence on increasing participation in higher education for disadvantaged pupils.
