This research report from the University of Warwick summarises a study that examined good practice in the way foundations support maintained schools with a non-faith foundation, both through the governing body and the wider range of activities that they engage with in partnership with schools. The study consisted of in-depth interviews with head teachers and chair of governors of selected schools, along with a literature review of school governance issues.
