A View Inside Primary schools

The goal of primary education for all will be missed unless rich countries meet their aid pledges, according to this UN report. This Unesco report predicts some 29 million children will be out of school by 2015, when all primary age children are supposed to be in education. The report presents the results of a unique survey undertaken in 11 countries in Latin America, Asia and North Africa. As part of the World Education Indicators (WEI) programme, the countries were involved in developing and conducting the survey to examine the factors shaping the quality and equality of primary education.
