Ofsted to attend Transforming Primary Teaching Conference
Ceri Morgan, HMI at Ofsted, has confirmed he will be speaking at the Transforming Primary Teaching conference, which will take place on Thursday 17th October 2013, at the Priory Rooms Meeting & Conference Centre in Birmingham.
Transforming Primary Teaching is a major national seminar on creative pedagogies that promote motivated successful learning and good progress.
The one-day seminar will cover classroom cultures that produce motivated and engaged learners; deploying more exciting approaches to the curriculum; dialogic teaching; creativity and learner-led learning; use of ICT to enhance and deepen learning; and alternative routes to raising standards in your school.
The seminar will offer opportunities to engage in discussions with top practitioners about how they created outstanding schools with new strategies to motivate and challenge children; learn about new ideas emerging in schools here and abroad; and take back to school tools and programmes that will transform teaching in classrooms.
All delegates will also receive a free copy of Think Like a Learner! by Di Pardoe and Tom Robson, and a six month subscription to Creative Teaching and Learning magazine, published by Imaginative Minds.
